The apartment has an area of 114 m2, located in an apartment building in Hanoi. The main functions include a living room, kitchen - dining room and two bedrooms.

The requirement to design the apartment in two tones of black and white posed a challenge for the team of architects. Because for a long time, this has been a classic color pair, bringing a luxurious, sophisticated and timeless beauty, but if not combined properly, it can make the space monotonous.

The design team has come up with solutions to make the black and white space more attractive and unique.

Specifically, curved or specially shaped furniture helps balance the rigidity of these two tones. Typical examples include wall-mounted cabinets and wall panels with gentle curves or wave-shaped wood panels, hanging lamps with arched or spherical shapes.

The walnut color makes the space warmer, the altar area and the wooden floor are the highlights of this plan. In addition, the fur carpet and soft fabric curtains soften the strength of the two contrasting colors.

The dining table is made of wood with natural grain, making the space look rustic but still luxurious.

Lighting plays an important role in creating depth and highlighting the lines in black and white interior spaces. When using light properly, you can take advantage of shadows to make the space less boring.

Ceiling lights or recessed lights help provide general background light for the entire space. Wall lights, LED ceiling lights, or shelf lights help create depth and highlight the interior structure. Table lamps, dining table pendant lights, and mirror lights help focus on specific areas.
